As I sit her listening to myself wheeze, even with my mouth shut…it feels  like a tiny motorcycle living in my chest, peeling out as I try to breathe without feeling like my displaced rib is going to disconnect from the cartilage and poke through my skin  every time I cough…  

This is 6 times in a year…6… how can I have pneumonia or on my way to it 6 times in one year?  Asthma? Can having asthma really increase your risk so much? RSV, Flu, rhino virus… and the other thing… I have a immune susceptibility to a certain bacteria, can cause it too… MORAXELLA, no not the cheese, though the founder was Swiss.

Steroids are not supposed to be taken regularly… but here I am , taking them on a semiregular basis because it is all that is helping… while I try not to remember the way they made me gain weight that was very difficult to lose a decade ago.

Up until now, it has been difficult for my immune system and I have seemed  to catch every bug, which sends my immune system into attack mode against itself… what a fun time right?
